- Eligibility
- Orphan, or a ward of parents who died due to COVID-19, or of armed forces/CAPF personnel martyred in action (see guidelines for full list); family income not more than ₹8 lakh a year; studying in an AICTE-approved degree or diploma course.
- Documents required
- Aadhaar, bank account seeded with Aadhaar, previous marksheet, income certificate (where an income limit applies), fee receipt / bonafide certificate. Proof of eligibility category (e.g. death certificate).
- How to apply
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, then fill the application for this scheme. Your institute verifies it online after you submit.
AICTE Swanath offers up to 2,000 scholarships a year (1,000 degree, 1,000 diploma) in AICTE-approved institutions, selected on merit of the qualifying exam.
Dates are from the scheme list on the National Scholarship Portal for academic year 2026-27. Apply only on scholarships.gov.in (One Time Registration first). From 2026-27 a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
