Free coaching for competitive and entrance exams for SC and OBC students (and PM CARES for Children beneficiaries). Apply on NSP by 31 October 2026.

Scholarship amount

Coaching fee paid to the institute plus a monthly stipend, as per the scheme guidelines.

Eligibility

SC or OBC student, or beneficiary of PM CARES for Children; family income within the scheme limit (see guidelines).

Documents required

Aadhaar, bank account seeded with Aadhaar, previous marksheet, income certificate (where an income limit applies), fee receipt / bonafide certificate. Caste certificate.

How to apply

Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, then fill the application for this scheme. Your institute verifies it online after you submit.

The Free Coaching Scheme pays for coaching at empanelled institutes for exams such as UPSC, state PSCs, SSC, banking, JEE and NEET, with a stipend.

Dates are from the scheme list on the National Scholarship Portal for academic year 2026-27. Apply only on scholarships.gov.in (One Time Registration first). From 2026-27 a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
