Eligibility

Admitted through ICAR AIEEA to an agricultural university outside your state of domicile; maintain the required OGPA; no other scholarship.

Documents required

Aadhaar, bank account seeded with Aadhaar, previous marksheet, income certificate (where an income limit applies), fee receipt / bonafide certificate.

How to apply

Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, then fill the application for this scheme. Your institute verifies it online after you submit.

ICAR's National Talent Scholarship supports UG students in agriculture and allied subjects who join an agricultural university outside their state of domicile through the ICAR entrance exam. NTS-PG (₹3,000 a month) follows the same dates.

Dates are from the scheme list on the National Scholarship Portal for academic year 2026-27. Apply only on scholarships.gov.in (One Time Registration first). From 2026-27 a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
