PM YASASVI Top Class Education in College for OBC, EBC & DNT Students 2026-27

Scholarship amount

Full tuition and non-refundable charges (ceiling ₹2 lakh a year for private institutions), living expenses of ₹3,000 a month, books and stationery ₹5,000 a year, and up to ₹45,000 once for a computer and accessories.

Eligibility

OBC, EBC or DNT student admitted to a notified top-class institution; family income up to ₹2.5 lakh a year.

Documents required

Aadhaar, bank account seeded with Aadhaar, previous marksheet, income certificate (where an income limit applies), fee receipt / bonafide certificate. Caste / community certificate.

How to apply

Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, then fill the application for this scheme. Your institute verifies it online after you submit.

For OBC, EBC and DNT students admitted to notified top-class institutions. 30% of slots are reserved for girls.

Dates are from the scheme list on the National Scholarship Portal for academic year 2026-27. Apply only on scholarships.gov.in (One Time Registration first). From 2026-27 a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
