Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme for Ministry of Railways (RPF/RPSF) 2026-27

₹2,500 a month for boys and ₹3,000 a month for girls in professional courses, for wards of RPF/RPSF personnel. Apply by 31 October 2026.

Scholarship amount

₹2,500 per month for male students; ₹3,000 per month for female students.

Eligibility

Ward of RPF/RPSF personnel; at least 60% in the minimum entry qualification for the professional course.

Documents required

Aadhaar, bank account seeded with Aadhaar, previous marksheet, income certificate (where an income limit applies), fee receipt / bonafide certificate. Service certificate of the parent.

How to apply

Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal, then fill the application for this scheme. Your institute verifies it online after you submit.

For wards of RPF/RPSF personnel pursuing professional degree courses, selected on merit of the minimum entry qualification.

Dates are from the scheme list on the National Scholarship Portal for academic year 2026-27. Apply only on scholarships.gov.in (One Time Registration first). From 2026-27 a student may apply for one merit-based scheme and one or more welfare-based schemes.
